How it Works

LabMill 3610 crushes samples rapidly between sharp steel discs. This process is designed to minimise heat generation and therefore moisture loss.

This makes the LabMill ideal for preparing samples for analysis where moisture content can be a key factor.

The distance between the grinding discs is adjustable, ensuring that LabMill 3610 can handle larger sized particles too.

Once it has ground them, the instrument collects samples in 500 ml cups.

There are three types of steel disc available:

• Medium (disc type 1) – for preparing samples for moisture content analysis

• Fine (disc type 5) – for grinding samples down into finer particles

• Coarse (disc type 6) – for grinding oats and other high moisture grains.
